Tasting Notes
All our ciders are made using only fresh pressed juice not concentrates, they are free from all added chemicals.
Please note: Our Sweet Union, Valley Zest and Katy ciders are produced in lower quantities every year, if possible, and depending on the time of year and availability of the fruit they may also be available in the 20 litre “bag in box”, or in smaller quantities from the Cider Press Café and Shop.
Sweet Union – 5.5% Medium Sweet. A delicious cloudy cider with a full apple flavour. Made using cider fruit from Yorkshire and eating apples from Lancashire, a sweet union of two great counties!
Valley Gold 6% Medium – A delicious golden full flavoured cider, delivering sweet apple flavours and a classic bitter finish.
Fusion 6.5% Medium Dry – A clean sharp cider made using a blend of 4 cider apple varieties. Voted the best cider of Yorkshire 2012 by CAMRA
Valley Zest – 7.2% Medium Dry. A real cider drinkers cider! Bright, full bodied with a sharp / zesty finish.
Katy – Medium 6%. A single variety made using katy apples. A delicious light, naturally hazy cider, full of subtle apple flavour.
Deanhouse Dry – 7% Dry. A bright well rounded dry cider made using sharp cider apples and garden fruit from Deanhouse.
Valley Oak – 6.5% Medium Dry. A pale cloudy cider made with cooking and eating apples, fermented and matured in young oak barrels. Full of sharp flavour with a subtle oak nose.
Pure North Original – Medium Dry Lightly Sparkling Bottled Cider. A classic clean tasting cider made with bitter sweet cider apples, initial sweetness gives way to a subtle bitterness.
